The Sirloin House
It's a quick 10-minute drive from Stoneville to our family's table in Eden. We're ready with warm plates and Southern hospitality that feels just like home.
For folks over in Stoneville, maybe after dropping the kids off at Stoneville Elementary or finishing up at the hardware store, we know you appreciate good food that's cooked right and served with a smile. It's not a far piece at all — just a hop down NC-770 — and many of our regulars from your neck of the woods tell us it’s well worth the short trip. We’ve been serving up Southern comfort and hearty meals since October 2001, and we’re still here because we believe in good food and good company. Whether you're craving one of our famous hand-cut Sirloin Tips or looking to fill up at the daily lunch buffet, you'll find something to make the drive worthwhile. We’ve got a plate with your name on it, and we think you’ll feel right at home the moment you walk through our doors. Come on over and see what keeps folks coming back.
The kitchen, midweek

When you step into The Sirloin House, you’ll find a dining room that feels lived-in and welcoming, not fancy. There are plenty of comfortable booths and tables, often filled with families and friends catching up. In the mornings, you'll hear the clatter of coffee cups and friendly chatter from the breakfast crowd. At lunch, the buffet line hums with activity as folks pick from the day's fresh offerings. It smells like good, honest cooking — maybe fried chicken, fresh rolls, or the sweet scent of a just-baked cobbler. We keep it clean and comfortable, a place where you can relax and enjoy a good meal without any fuss.

Getting to us from Stoneville is about as straightforward as it gets. You'll just head southeast on NC-770 for about six miles. It's a pretty straight shot, passing some pretty farmland and the occasional cow or two along the way. You'll know you're getting close when you start seeing the edges of Eden. We're right there on South Van Buren Road, easy to spot. Most folks from Stoneville will find us perfect for a hearty lunch buffet, which gets going at 11 AM, or for an early dinner. If you’re planning on coming for breakfast, the crowd thins out a bit after 9:30 AM, making for a more relaxed start to your day. No tricky turns or big city traffic to worry about, just a pleasant drive.
Since Stoneville is just a quick 10-minute drive, you've got plenty of flexibility. Our breakfast buffet runs Sunday through Friday from 7 AM to 11 AM, and until 1 PM on Saturdays. The lunch buffet is a popular choice, offered Sunday through Friday from 11 AM to 3 PM. We don't have a dinner buffet, but our full menu is available during dinner hours. If you're looking to avoid the biggest rush, try coming for breakfast after 9 AM or for an early dinner. Parking is free in our lot right at the building, and there's usually plenty of space. We welcome walk-ins for small tables, but if you've got a larger group, say eight or more, it’s always a good idea to call ahead so we can make sure to have a spot ready for y'all.
If you're making the trip from Stoneville, there's more to Eden than just our plates. You're right at the confluence of the Smith and Dan Rivers, which makes for some beautiful scenery. Freedom Park is a nice spot for a walk if you want to stretch your legs. Eden's got a rich history, too, formed by the merger of Leaksville, Spray, and Draper back in '67, and you can still see that old mill town character in spots. It's a nice place for a half-day trip – grab lunch or dinner with us, then maybe explore a bit of the riverfront or check out some of the local shops. It's a good way to see a little more of Rockingham County.
