The Sirloin House
We're just about a 35-minute drive from Yanceyville, over via NC-700/NC-86. It's a straight shot to find good, honest cooking waiting for you.
If you're making the trip from Yanceyville, past the historic Caswell County Courthouse and all the familiar sights, you might be wondering if the drive over to Eden is worth it. We hear that question from folks all the time, and we sure hope you'll agree that it is. People from all over Caswell County come to us when they're craving something real – a hand-cut steak cooked just right on the flat top, or maybe a heaping plate from our daily lunch buffet. We've been serving families and friends since 2001, and we pride ourselves on making food that reminds you of Sunday dinner at Grandma's. Whether it's the aroma of fresh fried chicken or the sweet scent of a cobbler baked at 4 a.m., there's a reason folks make the short drive. Come on over, and let us tell you a little more about what's waiting for you.
The kitchen, midweek

When you walk through our doors, you'll feel like you're stepping into a neighbor's kitchen, just a lot bigger! You'll hear the gentle hum of conversations, the clinking of forks, and the friendly greetings from our team. Our dining room is set up with comfy booths and tables, perfect for families or a quick bite alone. You'll see folks lining up at the buffet, eyeing up the day's fresh offerings, or settling in for a steady breakfast. It's a place where folks feel comfortable, where you can relax and enjoy a good, honest meal without any fuss. The smell of fresh coffee in the morning or sizzling steaks in the evening just lets you know you're in the right spot.

If you're coming for breakfast and want to avoid the busiest rush, aim to arrive a little after 9:30 AM on a weekday, when the morning crowd starts to thin out. While you're over in Eden, making the trip from Yanceyville, there's more to see than just our dining room! Eden sits right where the Smith River meets the Dan River, offering beautiful spots like Freedom Park for a stroll or some quiet time by the water. Our city has a rich history, formed from the merger of Leaksville, Spray, and Draper back in '67, and you can still see that old mill town character in some of the architecture. It's a nice way to make your visit a bit of a half-day trip, enjoying some of Rockingham County's natural beauty and history before or after your meal. There's a real small-town charm here, much like Yanceyville, but with its own unique flavor.
